Do I need experience with containers?
No. Our engineering team provides full designs, technical drawings and a step-by-step onboarding. Existing metalwork and welding capability is the foundation. Container-specific knowledge is what we provide.
How many units do I need to produce?
Minimum monthly volumes are agreed individually based on your capacity. Current partners produce between 3 and 8 modular units per month. There are no penalties for slower months in the first year.
What does the partnership cost?
No royalties, no licensing fees, no marketing contributions. The single recurring cost is roughly €100 per month for the production portal: orders, materials, engineering documents, schedules.
Who handles sales?
EcotainerFactory does. The order book is signed across 10 contracts and growing. New orders flow directly from our sales pipeline into your production dashboard.
How does compensation work?
Materials and engineering are delivered to you per project at no cost. Labour budget is paid in advance against the production schedule. The full production margin per unit stays with you.
Do I need to attend the workshop in Portugal?
The workshop is the strongly preferred way to start. If you cannot attend, we offer a 30-minute call with Paulo Arrojado, our CEO, as an alternative first step. Workshop travel is reimbursed.
What equipment do I need?
Standard structural metalwork capability: welding bay, basic lifting equipment, around 1.000 m² of floor space. EN1090 is an advantage but not strictly required at start.
How long does the partnership run?
Multi-year, typically three to five years. Exact term, geographic exclusivity and exit conditions are part of the contract discussion that follows the workshop.
